Ingredients:
- 1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. Sriracha
- 2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
- 2 packs of ramen noodles (flavor packets discarded)
- 2 green onions, green tops sliced thin
- 2 tbsp. sesame seeds
Directions:
- Peel and mince the garlic. Slice the green onions, separating the whites from the greens.
- Using a small bowl, whisk the soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, vinegar, sriracha, and brown sugar until thoroughly blended.
- Over high heat, bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil.
- Once the water reaches a rolling boil, add the dry noodles from the ramen packets and cook until just tender. (You will not use the flavor packets in this recipe, save them for future use)
- Remove the noodles from the heat and drain thoroughly.
- Return the pot to the heat, adding a drizzle of olive oil.
- Saute the onion whites until just browned, and turn off the heat.
- Return the noodles to the pot and top with the sauce. Toss with tongs to combine
- Top with sesame seeds, onion greens, and a drizzle of sriracha!
